What is Travellers' Diarrhoea?
How does the vaccination work?
Following a detailed risk assessment, standby antibiotics can be considered for some patients at high risk of severe illness should they develop TD or those visiting high-risk areas in remote locations where access to medical care is limited.
Who should be vaccinated?
Adult patients with travellers' diarrhoea that is not associated with any of the following:

Fever

Bloody diarrhoea

Eight or more unformed stools in the previous 24 hours

Occult blood or leucocytes in the stool
How much does it cost?
£25 per full course ( 9 tablets)
